 CONGRATULATIONS!
LaVerne Vines, Petersburg City Public Schools, was awarded the 2011 Middle
School Teacher of the Year Award at the Southern Business Education
Association (SBEA) conference for her outstanding contributions to middle school
instruction while she was in Richmond City Public Schools. Judy Sams
was awarded the 2011 Supervisor of the Year Award from SBEA. Both
awards were presented during the SBEA Awards Luncheon on Friday, October
21, 2011, at the Hilton in the Walt Disney World Resort, Orlando, Florida.
We are so proud of you, LaVerne and Judy. You are most deserving of
these prestigious awards!
